In this dramatic before and after sequence, the missing back teeth were fixed with non-removable replacements (bridges). The four upper front teeth were repaired using an outstanding type of cosmetic crown (Empress) that covers the whole tooth. This change had a profound impact, allowing this person to smile after many years of being self-conscious.

Above left are pictured typical amalgam or silver fillings. Notice the gray cast this filling material gives to the rest of the tooth. In the After picture these fillings have been replaced with precision crafted porcelain inlays. This technique can help recapture the natural look of the original tooth once again. Which would you prefer in your mouth?

Over the years, coffee, tea, and tobacco, can cause a gradual discoloration of the teeth. This kind of staining will often respond quite well to professional bleaching. The results you see here were achieved in the span of one month. Notice the contrast between the same reference shade to the left of the front teeth in both pictures.  The final result is pictured below. Now that's something to smile about!

The appearance of naturally discolored or mis-shapen teeth can be modified by placing a very thin, precisely fitted and matched porcelain veneer over the front of the tooth. The upper front six teeth were altered using this technique. Additional back teeth were altered using porcelain crowns.
